At best, campaign operations can be time-consuming busywork. At worst, it leaves a lot of room for error, and it doesn't scale across global teams. Learn how Josh Chen of Pure Storage is automating campaign operations, forecasting a six-figure annual cost savings.
To launch a campaign, your average Marketo user logs into Marketo: they clone the (hopefully) correct program template to the appropriate folder; they follow your program naming convention (if you’re lucky); they populate the program tokens (probably) accurately…At best, this process is time-consuming busywork. At worst, it leaves a lot of room for error, and it doesn't scale across global teams.
Josh Chen at Pure Storage wondered whether he could automate all of this. If you could just collect all the necessary info — what kind of program do you want to launch (ex: webinar), what is the webinar date, what is the webinar name, what is the webinar time, etc — perhaps one could document the workflow logic end-to-end and then use a low-code platform to execute all the work for you via the Marketo API.
Well, it turns out you can. Josh is rolling this new process out globally and forecasting a six-figure annual cost savings — and he’s picked up some new ideas along the way.
